“Hot and humid with only tiny fans to cool you off (and hard plastic chairs), it was impossible to sleep the two hours waiting for the early Tuesday morning flight back to Fiji. However, I noticed the door leading to the customs/transit lounge was left unlocked, so I went in and found the air conditioning was on even though the lights were off. I went in and rested in air-conditioned comfort until the immigration officers finally arrived; in the meantime, the dozen or so other travellers slowly filed in as soon as the figured out the door was unlocked. The immigration officer was the last to arrive, with everybody sitting on the floor, leaning against the wall! I guess this would get a medium rating- it’s nearly impossible to sleep in the airport unless you know the secret air-conditioned room (and they forgot to lock it!)”
