About: Dublin Airport-based Aer Lingus is the national flag carrier of Ireland and a wholly owned subsidiary of International Airlines Group, which also owns British Airways. Operating over 100 routes across the UK and Europe, it also flies to 17 direct locations in North America.

Frequent Flyer Program: Aer Lingus operates the AerClub loyalty programme with four membership tiers. Each level has a unique combination of travel benefits. The programme is also linked to partnerships with hotels, car hire, experiences, as well as business class upgrades on Aer Lingus to and from the US and Canada.

Lounges: The airline offers Aer Lingus Lounge in Terminal 2 at Dublin Airport, as well as lounges at London Heathrow and New York’s JFK.  Passengers can pre-book online or pay by credit card at lounge reception. As of February 2020, the entrance fees were €30 per guest, per two hour lounge visit. 

Delays & Cancellation: For disrupted flights on Aer Lingus, passengers have three options ranging from changing the booking, seeking a refund, or applying for compensation.

Flight Delay Plan: When flight delays occur, Aer Lingus offers a variety of services for passengers, such as the provision for food and water, and regular updates.
