Araxos Airport has a small terminal that serves military flights as well as seasonal commercial flights. Facilities are limited to a few snack bars and shops. Where to Sleep

The airport has limited operating hours, so it is not possible to spend the night here. For uninterrupted sleep, hotels are located nearby. See our Airport Hotels section below for more info.

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.

From May 1 to May 31: The airport is open from 9:00AM – 1:30PM (Mon-Thu and Sun) • 9:00AM – 9:30PM (Fri) • 9:00AM – 2:00PM and 10:00PM – 12:00AM (Sat).

From June 1 to September 30: The airport is open from 8:00AM – 1:00PM (Mon) • 8:30AM – 7:00PM (Tue) • 7:30AM – 11:00AM and 5:00PM – 8:00PM (Wed) • 8:30AM – 2:00PM (Thu) • 9:00AM – 9:30PM (Fri) • 6:30AM – 3:00PM and 10:00AM – 12:00AM (Sat) • 7:00AM – 12:00PM (Sun).
