What to Expect

Araxos Airport has a small terminal that serves military flights as well as seasonal commercial flights. Facilities are limited to a few snack bars and shops. We have no reviews from travellers who have passed through here. If you’ve visited this airport recently, please write a review to help future travellers!

Where to Sleep

The airport has limited operating hours, so it is not possible to spend the night here. For uninterrupted sleep, hotels are located nearby. See our Airport Hotels section below for more info.

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.

Airport Hours

The airport operates under very limited hours. Depending on the day of the week, it may only be open from 8:00AM – 1:00PM. It is never open later then 9:30PM. The airport can also close for several hours during the day. It is best to check with the airport before arriving. These hours are in effect until October 31, 2019.
