To help you plan your layover or overnight sleepover, we are here to give you the low-down on what travellers have reported back to us during their time at Dallas Love-Field Airport.
What to Expect
Dallas Love Field Airport consists of a recently built single-concourse terminal with plenty of dining and shopping options. The only food concession offering 24-hour service is Dunkin Donuts, so plan accordingly. WiFi is available and there are outlets for charging mobile devices. There are no private lounges at this airport.
Where to Sleep
After security checkpoints close for the night, all passengers are restricted to the landside areas, and must re-clear security the next morning when checkpoints open. Passengers spending the night in the terminal are directed to an area known as “Love Landing.” This area contains several couches and other comfortable chairs conducive for sleeping. If you plan to spend the night in this airport, consider bringing eyeshades to block out the bright lighting. Also consider bringing earplugs/noise-cancelling headphones to drown out public service announcements. For uninterrupted sleep, there are hotels near the airport. See Airport Hotels in the airport guide below.
In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.
