What to Expect
Georgetown’s Cheddi Jagan Airport (code: GEO) has recently upgraded its Departures area, and in 2018 opened a new Arrivals building. The expansion project is not officially complete, but so far functioning escalators/elevators have been installed making the airport more accessible for all travellers. GEO has also new seating and WiFi to enhance the airport experience. For economy class passengers looking for even more comfort, there is the option to pay to access the airport lounge. See our Airport Lounges section for locations and rates.
