What to Expect
Graz Airport (code: GRZ) is a small, modern, single-terminal international airport. GRZ provides travellers with a limited variety of shopping and dining options. None are open 24 hours, so plan accordingly if you are spending the night. To help pass your time, the airport features an art gallery and free WiFi! For economy-class passengers seeking additional comfort, there is the option to pay to enter the airport’s first-class lounge. Sleeping in Graz Airport
If you plan on spending the night at the airport, armrest-free benches are available in the terminal. A sleeping mask and earplugs will help block out the airport’s bright lights and frequent announcements, which continue throughout the night. For an uninterrupted sleep, there are hotels near the airport. See locations in the Airport Hotels section below or read traveller airport reviews for more tips.

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security. For more information on Europe’s Schengen Area, click here.
