To help you plan your layover or overnight sleepover, here is a quick run-down about what to expect during your time at Mobile Regional Airport.
What to Expect
Passenger services at Mobile Airport (code: MOB) are provided in a small, partially renovated terminal with limited services. There is a small eatery and gift shop/newsstand on each side of security. WiFi is available to help pass the time. Additional comfort can be found through fee-based access to the airport’s first-class lounge. See Airport Lounges in the guide below.
Sleeping in Mobile Airport
We do not yet have any recent sleep-related airport reviews. At the time of the last review, the airport was said to have comfortable armrest-free couch seating. Bring earplugs! The frequent announcements could make for a rough sleep. For uninterrupted sleep, there are hotels near the airport. Pay-per-use, Single Visit Passes & Lounge Memberships
Regardless of what class of service you are flying, there is a lounge that you can enter by paying at the door:
- Executive Club – Offers free complimentary snacks and beverages, TV, magazines, and newspapers, and Work areas with data ports. Lounge Access: One day pass ($10) / Annual pass ($75). All active-duty military receive free access.

Food concessions throughout the airport operate with varying schedules. At the time of this update, there are no 24-hour dining options. Vending machines are also available in the airport. More Airport Information
ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs are available. Fees may apply, so check your bank’s fee schedule and daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Locations: Landside, First floor • Airside, near the Cruise City Bar and Grill.
Business Center – Meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 100 are available for rent. Rooms are equipped with full audio and visual equipment. Rates: from $15/1 hour, $35/4 hours and $50/8 hours.
Children’s Play Area – When you want to ensure your kids burn off all their energy before their flight, take them to the children’s play area. Location: 2nd floor.
Duty-Free & Shopping – Duty-Free shopping is not available. Hudson News is located landside and airside. Hours: unknown.
Information Desk – If you have any questions, visit the customer service desk for assistance. Location: center of the first floor in the terminal. Hours: 5:00 AM – last flight arrival.
Post Office – A stamp machine is located near the Customer service, landside, on the first floor. A post office is within walking distance from the terminal building. Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Mon-Fri); 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Sat); Sunday closed.
