We booked a flight that arrived at 11pm in Aswan and continued next morning at 6.30 to Abu Simbel.
It's a tiny airport that is closed during the night, but they let us sleep inside. The toilets were perfect, even Western style, the benches were soft and WITHOUT armrests and of course we had the whole place for us, with guards constantly looking at us, but more with curiosity than wanting to bother.
