"Cape Town is a beautiful airport. New and clean with clean, convenient bathrooms and easy access even with a trolley. Plenty of quiet areas with few overnight passengers as they don't have late flights. Unfortunately all the shops but the Mugg and Bean close about 9pm and don't open until about 5am so get your snacks and drinks before 9pm. Major setback would be the awful seating chairs. They are a uncomfortable aluminum with no easy access to power. You can find room on the floor and the aluminum benches while hard and cold are at least long enough for me (6' 3') to stretch out on. Plus and minus would be the lighting. It is bright and hard to get away from so it provides some security but also makes it harder to sleep. Wi-Fi is offered throughout most of the terminals, but it is fee-based unless you use a service like Boingo that is affiliated with the access service."
