"So we had an early flight from Vientiane to Hanoi, which wasn't in our plans and costed us 100USD more... to save a little we decided that we could sleep in the airport... at midnight we picked up a tuk-tuk and went to the airport(3 USD each). When we arrived at the airport the gate was closed... bad luck, the airport was closed until 4 AM. While we were still in the city we heard that a lot of hostels were full... so we had to choose... go back to city meaning all its extra costs and not finding an available place to stay... or stay outside in the airport opening for it to open! As crazy as we were, we decided to stay in the door of the airport in a country where there is a curfew at 11h30 PM! What a great decision this one was, 10 minutes after we were there, my friend had already taken out her sleeping bag... the security guy came to speak with us in the international language of signs :) saying that we could go and sleep to his cabin... it was great and he was really nice, we had enough space to lay down, he was careful to close all the windows, turn out the lights and radio and just sat there quietly reading is newspaper... at 4 PM we woke up and decided to go to the airport terminal... where we slept more 2 hours. Everything was closed, there were very few people around there, some security and cleaning.. but no one disturbed us, well except the insects... but those one are really everywhere!Of course if I knew the airport was closed I wouldn't have gone... but still was a nice experience!!!"
