This is a teensy tiny airport that is only a few years old (the old airport was destroyed by volcano). B/c it's so tiny, you can leave it to sunbathe or walk around outside which is fun--there are herds of cattle and goats mere metres away. Lines are small b/c it's not a big destination. People are nice. Food options are limited (chips mostly) and most people are just sipping beers at the teensy tiny bar. Souvenir shop across the parking lot was never open when we were there. Seats were comfy but I was only there a few hours, not trying to sleep or anything. Bathrooms clean, but there's only a single one in the departures lounge. It's quaint and charming, but due to limited flights not a place to stay for very long anyway.
