"I went to the airport early, really early (8 hours) and thought I would find a place to have a drink, find people to talk to or anything. But even if this is an international airport, it is not open 24 hrs a day. So i stayed 5hrs alone outside. Hopefully the security guards offered me some water and managed to let me in... So be careful, absolutely no one there before the last 3hrs before take off... and the first shop/store/bar is 2kms away (and Paramaribo 45min of taxi away...), althought the airport itself is not bad, even if not really designed to sleep. And moreover security guards helpful and skilled in english."
