Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport

Buses

Garage Ashruf operates a 24-hour airport bus service for transporting passengers between the airport and the city center. A one-way journey takes about an hour, or longer during rush hour. Arriving passengers can check in at Unit 32 in the Arrivals Hall. A reservation is required for rides back to the airport. In addition to the Garage Ashruf tourist buses, some local city buses also serve the airport, stopping at the road in front of the airport.

Car Rentals

The following companies offer onsite car rental services: Avis/Dallas, Localiza, Movida, and Unidas.

Minibus

Travel like the locals do! If your load is light, you can travel at a fraction of the price of a taxi by taking one of the shared-ride minibuses that pass along the main road in front of the airport.

Taxis

Taxis are readily available for hire in the ground transportation area of the airport. There are no meters, so negotiate a fare with the driver before starting your journey.
