"I spent 1 night at Barcelona El Pratt airport.
To be completely honest, it wasn't the best night of my life. I
slept in arrival hall of terminal A. This place itself isnt bad
at all, but there are couple of issues with it.
First: You have to get there early, there are only few benches
with armrests removed and those are highly demanded among
"locals".
Second: The weather in Barcelona isn't even in December very
cold (there were even some people surfing in the sea). Despite
this, terminal A is pretty cold place during the night. You
better take a blanket or a sleeping bag. (There is much warmer
in terminals B and C, but i couldn't find any seat i could
stretch on).
Third: There is classical music playing really loud all night
long. Speakers are right next to those benches, you can sleep
on. It was extremely annoying, even for me, who like classical
music. I highly recommend bringing earplugs.
On the plus side, the place is pretty safe, there is security walking
around all night but not bothering anyone."
