I was rudely awakened from a deep sleep by the tapping (striking?!) of a baton on my shoulder by one of these guys, shouting at me in Swedish.-Eric

"Arrived in this cold and inhospitable place late at night. Nothing was open. Staff at the airport were as good as non existent. The ones that were there seemed to be doing their jobs with Swedish Germanic distance to everything. Swedes are a strange bunch, and when confronted with anything that might require them to use any kind of fantasy or imagination seems utterly beyond them. I asked a very attractive blond lady at the closing airport cafe if I could possibly buy something too eat. I believe it would be easier to make peace in Holy land. The airport was horribly no disturbingly clean and totally comletely characterless. I spoke to a young Swedish for immigrants teacher about her impressions of the airport; Nothing wrong or strange according to her. I suppose Sweden is mostly forrest and they cant see the wood for the trees!"
