"Well, Norway is very expensive for me, so I tried to save where I could ....Sleeping at Torp airport seemed a good to start with. Was quite amusing when a drunk guy who'd just came through arrivals jumped on one of those rideable floor sweepers! He did a figure of eight around the check in area and then proceeded to the door. No one (especially the staff), seemed to notice this maniac! He then slammed the brakes on just as he got to the exit, hopped off and out he went smiling and stumbling!
I figured if they tolerate this, surely they wont mind me dozing around for the night. The benches are quite comfy and semi cushioned, I've certainly encountered much worse. Just as I was getting comfy and sleepy, the security woke me up however...
He told me I'd have to go to another bit to stay the night. This section is sealed off from the check in area etc. and is located at one of the entrance / exits, which means automatic doors. These doors kept opening and closing all night, bear in mind this is February and there was two feet of snow outside as well as a gusty wind! Absolutely freezing and NO cushioned benches, just a hard back plastic chair the security pulled out for me :-("
