I spent two nights this months in Arlanda, on my way out and on my way back because my flights left/arrived two early/late. After reading the reviews here and hearing it from a friend who had stayed there a few weeks before, i decided to try it. It was my first airport sleeping adventure! I stayed by the SEB bank. They have two round comfy sofas that can accommodate three travelers each :) . The bathroom is close by and was extremely clean. There are also lockers next to the bathrooms where you can put your luggage if you want (40 sek for the small, 80 sek for the large one). I took out my sleeping bag both nights and no one paid attention. There were many other travelers sleeping throughout skycity, of all ages, from youngish like me to business travelers! The cleaning staff has noisy machines and there was non stop music coming out of the loudspeakers in the area I was in but it wasn't loud enough not to sleep. Overall i felt very safe and comfortable. Recommended, specially knowing the prices of the hotels around and in the airport!
