"We arrived in Toulouse the weekend of a handicapped convention. We were to fly out the following day to the States. We were planning to live it up the night before we left Europe but couldn't find anywhere to stay. The airport it had to be!! We wandered around for awhile and were just about to make ourselves comfortable on some chairs (that had armrests), when one of the cleaning staff approached and told us to go up to the second floor. There we would find lovely chairs with no armrests and peace and quiet. Fingers crossed. It was the case for most of the night but then some men decided they couldn't sleep so why should the rest of us? Chatting loudly in French for a few hours. There were about 30 of us there (some of the guys there looked real professional at camping in the airport. I would thoroughly recommend the Toulouse airport with friendly security staff. The other negative was the annoying announcements - if we left our luggage unattended it would be destroyed by the police - is etched into my brain."
