The international area is better watched, but both international and domestic can get nasty crowded, hot and sticky, and it's easy to find trouble here. Another diver (Jan 2009) had to duck for cover when shots rang out, and when a tourist tried to help and requested a first aid kit, there was none, so he showed some friends how to stop the bleeding. There are bugs and mosquitoes, and the nearby airport hotel is armed to the teeth and well guarded, but very expensive. Don't even think of sleeping here!
