"Although you usually only go there when headed into Southeast Alaska, its a great little airport. Granted, its tiny, and there aren't really a lot of food stations-you could practically take up residence at the top of the stairs and no one would notice. People are generally nice and you can hitchhike around town safely and pretty easily, and there's a McDonalds that is only a couple blocks down, and a mall too with a food court. But don't count on those staying open very late. In fact, half the airport will close down, but if you find a nice corner, you'll be fine. And I can definitely say that worry about being mugged or having your luggage snatched is practically 0. I would sleep there all night without thought (I only spent 8 or 9 hours there and now I live here so...). I give it half a smiley face because its safe and quiet, but not a lot of conveniences..."
