Almería Airport is a modern two-level terminal with four gates and limited shopping and dining options. WiFi is available to help pass the time. There are no private lounges at this airport.
Where to Sleep
Overnight sleeping is not allowed in the airport, but there are hotels near the airport. Please see Airport Hotels in the airport guide below.
In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.
There are no pay-per-use lounges at this time.

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport
Almeria Airport is served by bus Route 30 (Almería-Aeropuerto-Alquilán-Retamar El Toyo) which runs daily to and from Almeria city center. The trip last 35 minutes and bus fare is €1,05. Departures are available approximately every 35 minutes and bus service is available from the airport to the city:
- Monday – Friday: 7:15AM – 11:20PM
- Saturday: 7:15AM – 11:40PM
- Sunday: 7:10AM – 11:00PM
The following agencies are available onsite in the Arrivals Hall: Europcar • Goldcar • Hertz.
Taxis are available in the ground transportation area, just outside of the Arrivals Hall. All taxis are metered, and reservations are not required. Extra fees apply for oversized luggage, trips to/from the airport are subject to a €4.64 fee, fares can be higher at certain times of the day, on holidays, etc. It is best to ask before you start your trip.
