To help you plan your layover or overnight sleepover, we are here to give you the low-down on what travellers have reported back to us about their time at Oranjestad Reina Beatrix Airport.

What to Expect

Oranjestad Reina Beatrix Airport consists of a small two-level terminal building with eight gates and almost two dozen eateries and shops on both the air and land sides. WiFi is available to help pass the time. Additional comfort can be found through fee-based access to one of the airport’s first class lounges. See Airport Lounges in the airport guide below for locations and rates.

Where to Sleep

The airport is closed at night and overnight sleeping is not permitted. For uninterrupted sleep, there are hotels near the airport. See Airport Hotels in the airport guide below for locations and rates.

Good to Know

As of March 1, 2018, all passengers arriving from endemic areas must provide proof of yellow fever vaccination. The airport offers U.S. Customs and Immigration pre-clearance to U.S.-bound passengers.

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.
