What to Expect

Aruba Airport consists of a small two-level terminal building with eight gates and almost two dozen eateries and shops on both the air and land sides. WiFi is available to help pass the time. Additional comfort can be found through fee-based access to one of the airport’s first-class lounges. See Airport Lounges in the guide below for locations and rates.

Sleeping in Aruba Airport

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. More Services, Facilities & Things To Do On A Layover

ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs, operated by CMB and RBC Royal Bank, are available. Fees may apply, so check your bank’s fee schedule and daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Locations: Main Concession Area • Meeter Greeter Area.

Currency Exchange – CMB Bank – Location: Landside, Ground Floor.

Disabled Services – Accessibility toilets and ramps/elevators are located throughout the terminal.

Duty-Free & Shopping – Shopping is limited to three Dufry Duty-Free shops, Aruba Aloe, Colombian Emeralds, and Island Breeze.

Family Services – If you are travelling with an infant, there are family restrooms with diaper-changing facilities.

Information desk – If you have any questions, visit the airport information desk on the ground floor, near the bank and ATM.

Luggage Wrapping – Protect your bags from theft and damage by having them wrapped in plastic. Quick Wrap provides services in the check-in area. Rates: Unknown.

Prayer Rooms – A meditation room is on the ground floor, airside, near Gate 2.

Sculpture Garden – Located on the landside in the US Plaza (after US check-in but before security). There are seven sculptures currently on display.
