What to Expect
Bandung Airport (code: BDO) has one small terminal that’s divided into domestic and international concourses. The airport has plenty of eateries, both landside and airside, though everything closes by 10:00PM. A few souvenir shops and free WiFi help pass the time. Sleeping in Bandung Airport
If you are in transit, a traveller (2019) mentioned that there were no good sleeping spots to be found. You may need to prepare to sleep on the floor. For privacy and comfort you will need to leave the airport, where there several nearby hotels within a 10 minute drive. In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport
There are two bus options at Bandung Airport. The DAMRI bus and the Transmetro Bandung which can help you reach the city from BDO airport. Additional information is not available.

Travel like a local, and hire a “becak” (rickshaw) from the ground transportation area. The fare can vary but is typically around 15000IDR to 25000IDR depending on the distance travelled. It is recommended that you establish the fare before travelling to avoid excessive costs.
Prepaid taxis are available for hire, during airport hours of operation. For service, buy a ride ticket from the taxi booth located near the International Arrivals exit. Metered taxis are available for hire in the ground transportation area; however, this option can be much more expensive than a fixed rate taxi.
