What to Expect
Confins Airport (code: CNF) has two terminals that service international and domestic flights. Terminal 2 is brand new. You’ll find a good variety of shops and eateries, including two cafes that are open 24 hours. Free WiFi helps pass the time.
Sleeping in Confins Airport
Overnight campers seem to have no problem staying here. Security guards mill about, and you’ll find some padded seating throughout the airport. Noise can be an issue, so bring along earplugs or noise-cancelling headphones. For uninterrupted sleep, nearby hotels offer shuttle service. Mobile Charging – Mobile charging and power outlets are all 220v and do not accommodate US plugs. If you need to charge something with a US plug, ask the Information Desk for assistance.

Observation Deck – Relax and watch planes taking off and landing from the vantage point of the airport’s observation deck. Location: 2nd level. Hours: unknown.

Bus
Unir connects Confins Airport to Belo Horizonte. For fares, routes and schedules, visit the Conexao Aeroporto website. There are several bus options:
- Executive Bus – Confins Airport to Alvares Cabral Terminal. Fare R$19,25 (as of Jan 2022). Travel time: 50 minutes.
- Conventional Bus
- Line 5250/5270 travels between Confins Airport and the Belo Horizonte Bus Terminal. Fare R$ 8.70. Travel time: 60 minutes.
- Line 5251 travels between Pampulha and Confins Airport. Fare R$ 8,70. Travel time: 45 minutes.
- Urban Bus – Line 5252/5271 travels between Confins Airport and the Belo Horizonte Bus Terminal. Fare R$ 7.05. Time time: 75 minutes.
