Confins Airport (code: CNF) has two terminals that service international and domestic flights. Terminal 2 is brand new. You’ll find a good variety of shops and eateries, including two cafes open 24 hours. Free WiFi helps pass the time.

Sleeping in Confins Airport

Overnight campers seem to have no problem staying here. Security guards mill about, and you’ll find some padded seating throughout the airport. Advantage VIP Lounge – Location: Terminal 1, Landside/Airside, 2nd Floor. Two entrances: landside beside the panoramic terrace and airside beside Gate 2. Showers: Yes, additional fee. Luggage Storage & Lockers

Lockers are available. Tickets are purchased from Drogaria Air Farma, located between the information desk and the check-in area on the ground floor. Lockers are located outside the terminal.

Mobile Charging

Power outlets and charging points use 220V sockets and do not fit U.S.-style plugs. Travellers using U.S. plugs will need an adapter.

Free WiFi is available at Confins Airport. Connect to the “BH Airport WiFi Grátis” Network.

Security & Safety

Sleeping in any airport can include a certain level of risk, especially when travelling alone. It’s important to take certain precautions to ensure your safety and the security of your valuables. Here are a few tips:

Safety First. It’s a good idea to know where the security office is located and look for video cameras where you plan to sleep. You can also ask the security personnel for advice on the safest places to spend the night.
Don’t Seclude Yourself. If you’re travelling alone, we recommend you stay near other travellers or close to security. This will help you feel more secure and deter potential thieves.
Hide Your Valuables. It’s also important to hide your valuables. Don’t leave them out in plain view, as this could make you a target for theft. Additionally, if you are a deep sleeper, you may want to padlock your bag to something or sleep with your bag up against a wall to make it harder for someone to access zippers and pockets. We have received reports of sleepers who woke up without their phones and laptop bags. The travellers were left with just their headphones and laptop bag strap.
Stay Alert. It’s best to stay alert and awake if you feel unsafe or uncomfortable. Drink coffee or other caffeinated beverages to help you stay awake, and remember that you can always catch up on sleep during your flight. These simple precautions can help you enjoy a safe night at the airport.

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport

Bus

Unir connects Confins Airport to Belo Horizonte. For fares, routes and schedules, visit the Conexao Aeroporto website. There are several bus options:

Executive Bus – Confins Airport to Alvares Cabral Terminal. Fare R$19,25 (as of Jan 2022). Travel time: 50 minutes.
Conventional Bus
- Line 5250/5270 travels between Confins Airport and the Belo Horizonte Bus Terminal. Fare R$ 8.70. Travel time: 60 minutes.
- Line 5251 travels between Pampulha and Confins Airport. Fare R$ 8,70. Travel time: 45 minutes.
Urban Bus – Line 5252/5271 travels between Confins Airport and the Belo Horizonte Bus Terminal. Fare R$ 7.05. Time time: 75 minutes.
