Just passing by, for my delight this brand-new Campinas airport is a beauty….. Perhaps better than the city itself! – Filipe
To help you plan your layover or overnight sleepover, here is a quick run-down about what to expect during your time at Campinas Airport.
What to Expect
Campinas Airport has a single, medium-sized terminal that has been recently renovated. Amenities include a range of cafes and restaurants, plus duty-free and convenience shops. A few eateries stay open 24 hours. Free WiFi helps pass the time. For added comfort, economy class passengers can pay to enter an airport lounge. See Airport Lounges in the airport guide below for its location and access information.
Where to Sleep
We have no recent reviews from travellers who have slept at this airport. One older review mentioned that seating, comfortable enough to sleep on, is available in the 2nd floor food court. If you’ve visited recently, please write a review to help future travellers! For uninterrupted sleep, private sleep cabins are available to rent, located airside in Corridor C. Otherwise, hotels are nearby. See our Airport Hotels section below for more info.
In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.
Pay-per-use, Single Visit Passes & Lounge Memberships
Regardless of what class of service you are flying, there are lounges that you can enter by paying at the door or through a lounge membership program (ie. Priority Pass). Visit the individual lounge page for more details about the lounge itself and to also find out how you can gain lounge access with just an economy class ticket!
