To help you plan your layover or overnight sleepover, here is a quick run-down about what to expect during your time at Clark Airport.

What to Expect

Clark Airport has a single, recently expanded terminal that serves domestic and international routes. A new terminal is currently under construction with expected completion in 2020.

Travellers report on long, sometimes repetitive security procedures, so arrive early for peace of mind. Amenities include a range of Asian and Western eateries and shops, some of which are open 24 hours. WiFi is free for one hour per device. For added comfort while you wait, economy class passengers can pay to enter an airport lounge. See Airport Lounges in the airport guide below for location and access information.

Where to Sleep

The airport is open 24 hours, but travellers may not be permitted to spend the night instead of the terminal. Some opt for the partially-covered area just outside the main lobby, which has seats, a minimarket, coffee machines, and a grassy spot. If you are inside, the landside area has limited armrest-free seating. For uninterrupted sleep, nearby hotels offer shuttle service for a fee. See our Airport Hotels section below for more info.

Good to Know

Travellers are only allowed to enter the airport 3 hours prior to departure of their scheduled flights.

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.
