What to Expect

Cuenca Airport (code: CUE) has a small terminal that serves a few domestic destinations. Facilities include a few eateries and several shops. Free WiFi helps pass the time.  For added comfort, economy class passengers can pay to enter an airport lounge. See Airport Lounges in the guide below for location and access information.

Sleeping in Cuenca Airport

The airport is open from 6:00 AM until the day’s last flight, usually 9:30 PM, so it is impossible to spend the night. For uninterrupted sleep, nearby hotels offer shuttle service. See the Airport Hotels section below for more info, or read traveller airport reviews for more tips.

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airport Hours

The airport is open 6:00 AM – 9:00 PM (Saturday – Thursday) • 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM (Friday).

Pay-per-use, Single Visit Passes & Lounge Memberships

More Services, Facilities & Things To Do On A Layover

ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs are available. Fees may apply, so check your bank’s fee schedule and daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Locations: There is a dedicated Banking Area available in the main hall. It is here where you will find banks, most of which have ATMs available.

Baggage Carts – Need a hand with your bags? Luggage trolleys are located on the ground floor of the airport. Fee: $2.00 (inside terminal) • $3.00 (arrival area).
