To help you plan your layover or overnight sleepover, we are here to give you the low-down on what travellers have reported back to us during their time at Afonso Pena International Airport.

What to Expect

  • A clean, midsize main passenger terminal with a wide variety of shops and restaurants
  • WiFi is available. See WiFi information in the airport guide below.
  • Economy class passengers can pay to enter one of the airport’s first class lounges. See Airport Lounges in the airport guide below for locations and rates.

Where to Sleep

  • As of May 2017, we have no reviews from travellers who have attempted to sleep in this airport. Write a review to help future travellers!
  • For uninterrupted sleep, there are hotels near the airport. See Airport Hotels in the airport guide below.

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.

Airport Lounges

Pay-per-use, Single Visit Passes & Lounge Memberships

Regardless of what class of service you are flying, there is a lounge that you can enter through a lounge membership program (ie. Priority Pass). Visit the individual lounge page for more details about the lounge itself and to also find out how you can gain lounge access with just an economy class ticket!

ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs are available. Machines are operated by Banco 24 Horas • Banco do Brasil • Caixa Econômica Federal • HSBC • Itaú. Fees may apply, so be sure to check your bank’s fee schedule and your daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Location: Landside.

Baby Care Facilities – Location: Landside and Airside in the washrooms.

Beauty Services – Vera’s Hair Salon can be found on the 2nd Floor. Hours: 7:00AM – 10:00PM.

Currency Exchange – Cotação – Location: Landside, Second Floor. Hours: 07:00 AM – 10:00 PM (Monday – Friday) • 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM (Saturday – Sunday – Holidays).

Duty Free & Shopping – Duty Free is available as well as a decent selection of shops to pass the time.

Food & Drinks – There are 24-hour food options at Curitiba Airport: Delta Expresso – Location: Airside, First Floor. Heineken Taproom – Location: Airside. House of Cheese Bread 24 hours only Mon – Fri) – Location: Airside, First Floor and Second Floor.

Information Desk – Location: Landside, First Floor – Hours: Open 24 hours.

Luggage Storage & Lockers – Not available.

Massage Chairs – Accessible 24 hours a day. Location: First floor.

Medical Services – If you require medical attention, a clinic is available. Location: Landside, near Gate C. Hours: 24 hours a day.

Various city buses serve the airport and city center, with departures every day of the week; however service is limited on the weekends.
