What to Expect

dubrovnik airport guideDubrovnik Airport (code: DBV) has a single terminal building that was built in 2009. Two Terminals, B and C, have been recently integrated to handle arrivals and departures. The airport primarily handles seasonal flights, getting particularly busy in the summer. Facilities are limited to a couple cafes and a duty-free shop in the international area. WiFi is available for a fee. For added comfort while you wait, economy class passengers can pay to enter an airport lounge. Sleeping in Dubrovnik Airport

The airport closes nightly from 12:00AM until 4:00AM, so staying the night here is not possible. For uninterrupted sleep, nearby hotels offer shuttle service for a fee.  See the Airport Hotels section below for more info or read some traveller airport reviews for more tips.

ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs are available. Fees may apply, so be sure to check your bank’s fee schedule and your daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Locations: Arrivals Hall, Ground Floor.

Banking Services – OTP offers full-service banking in the airport. Location: unknown. Hours: 8:00AM – 2:00PM (Mon – Fri) • 8:00AM – 12:00PM (Sat) .

Children’s Area – There is a playground located outside, between the car park and bus parking zones.

Currency Exchange – Location: International Arrivals (Hours: 8:00AM – 12:00AM) • International Departures (Hours: 6:00AM – 10:00PM).

Duty Free & Shopping – A duty-free shop is available in International Departures, and a newsstand is available in Domestic Departures.

Public bus between the airport and Dubrovnik is 28,00kn per person.
