What to Expect

dubrovnik airport guideDubrovnik Airport (code: DBV) has a single terminal building built in 2009. Two Terminals, B and C, have been recently integrated to handle arrivals and departures. The airport primarily handles seasonal flights, getting particularly busy in the summer. Facilities are limited to a few cafes and a duty-free shop in the international area. WiFi is available for a fee. For added comfort while you wait, economy class passengers can pay to enter an airport lounge. Sleeping in Dubrovnik Airport

The airport closes nightly from 12:00 AM until 4:00 AM, so staying the night here is impossible. For uninterrupted sleep, nearby hotels offer a shuttle service for a fee.  See the Airport Hotels section below for more info, or read some traveller airport reviews for more tips.

ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs are available. Fees may apply, so check your bank’s fee schedule and daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Locations: Arrivals Hall, Ground Floor.

Banking Services – OTP offers full-service banking in the airport. Location: unknown. Hours: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Mon – Fri) • 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Sat).

Children’s Area – A playground is located outside between the car park and bus parking zones.

Currency Exchange – Location: International Arrivals (8:00 AM – 12:00 AM) • International Departures (6:00 AM – 10:00 PM).

Duty-Free & Shopping – A duty-free shop is in International Departures, and a newsstand is available in Domestic Departures.

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport

Bus

A public bus operates between the airport and Dubrovnik for 28,00kn per person.

Korkkyra Shuttle bus transfer from the airport to Korcula passes through nine cities. Departures are eight times a day. For more information, visit the Korkyra website.
