What to Expect
Ekaterinburg Airport has two connected terminals, A and B, which were both built within the last 15 years. Terminal A handles domestic routes and Terminal B serves international routes. A third VIP business terminal offers upgraded amenities for a fee.
Amenities include a range of shops and eateries, and they all stay open 24 hours. Free WiFi helps pass the time. Economy class passengers can pay to enter a few airport lounges, one of which has shower facilities. See Airport Lounges in the airport guide below for location and access information.

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.
Pay-per-use & Single Visit Passes
Regardless of what class of service you are flying, there are lounges that you can enter by paying at the door or through a lounge membership program (ie. Priority Pass). Emerald Lounge – Location: Domestic Terminal A, Airside, Floor 2. Hours: open 24 hours. Lounge Access: Pay at the Door.

If sleeping in Koltsovo Airport does not appeal to you, there are hotels near the airport:

Free WiFi is available in all passenger areas. Connect to the “Free_SEX” network. That’s right! Seems someone at the airport has a bit of a sense of humour. We had to double check this network name and it was published on the airport’s web site.
More Services, Facilities & Things To Do On A Layover At The Airport
ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs are available. Fees may apply, so be sure to check your bank’s fee schedule and your daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Locations: Terminals A and B, on the 1st floor.
Currency Exchange – Sberbank offers full-service banking, including foreign currency exchange. Location: Terminal B, 1st Floor, right hand-side. Global Exchange has an office in each of the Arrival Halls (Domestic and International terminals), open 24 hours a day.
Duty Free & Shopping – Heinemann provides Duty Free shopping in Domestic Terminal B, Floor 1. A small variety of shops are also available to pass your time in the airport.
Food & Drinks – The airport offers restaurants and coffee shops both Landside and Airside. The following options are open 24 hours: Balkan Grill (Domestic Terminal A, Floor 2) • Charter’s Pub (Domestic Terminal A, Floor 2).
Information Kiosks – There are two information kiosks located in Terminal B, ground floor (landside).
Luggage Storage & Lockers – Storage is available in the Domestic Terminal A, lower Level. Rates start at 100 RUB/piece for the 1st hour to a maximum of 350 RUB for the 1st 24 hours. Each additional day thereafter costs 100 RUB. Winter clothing (coats, hats, footwear, etc) can also be stored for 100 RUB per day.
Luggage Wrapping – Services are available in Domestic Terminal A, Floor 1. Prices start at 500 RUB per piece.
Massage Chairs – Visit the US Medica store to relax in massage chairs.Location: Domestic Terminal A, Floor 2.
Medical Services – Free first aid is available at the medical station. Location: Ground Floor, Terminal A, Domestic, Right wing. Hours: 24 a day.
Mobile Charging – At the time of this update, we did not have any information about mobile charging availability. If you know, click here to update this airport guide.
Nursery Room – If you are traveling with a child under 7 years old, you can make use of the Nursery Room, which includes everything you need to care for your child. Facilities include children’s and adult’s beds, fully-equipped kitchen, a game room, washing machine, a sofa with TV in the lounge area and more. Overnight accommodation permitted (with your children, of course). Medical clearance certificate, issued by the airport medical station, is required in order to gain access. Location: Terminal A, Domestic, Floor 1.
Pharmacy – There is a Pharmacy located in Terminal 2B, International, Ground Floor, near customs. Hours: 24 hours.
Post Office – Location: Terminal B / International, 1st Floor.
Rest Zones – Not available.

Smoking – There are designated smoking rooms within the airport.
The airport is open 24 hours.
As of November 2018, Ekaterinburg airport is served by the following airlines: Aeroflot • Air Astana • Globus • Nordstart • Rusline • S7 Airlines • Ural Airlines • Utair • Uzbekistan Airways.
Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport
Shuttle Bus 1 links the airport to Koltsovo Railway Station in a 45-minute journey. Buses run from 5:30AM – 11:30PM. A single-ride ticket is 100 RUB plus 20 RUB for luggage. A longer, but much more affordable option is with the regular bus Line 1, which takes approximately 1 hour and 5 minutes. The bus runs from 6:08AM – 11:41PM and costs 28 RUB for a single ticket
Avis and Rent Motors are located in the Arrivals Hall.
Minibuses 26 and 39 offer service to the city center from 7:00AM – 10:00PM. Total trip time is 30 minutes. At the time of this December 2017 update we are unable to confirm which minibus transportation options are available at the Ekaterinburg airport.
Taxis are available in the ground transportation area of the airport on a 24-hour basis. All taxis are metered, and reservations are not required. Total trip time between the airport and city center is 30 minutes.
The Koltsovo Express No.6038 and No.6040 link the airport to Ekaterinburg-Passazhirsky railway station in a 40-minute journey. As of this November 2018 update, tickets are 22 – 50 RUB.
