FOR Airport Overview
To help you plan your layover or overnight sleepover, here is a quick run-down about what to expect during your time at Fortaleza-Pinto Martins International Airport.
What to Expect
Fortaleza Airport (code: FOR) consists of a single terminal that is currently undergoing expansion and renovation until 2021. Officially called Pinto Martins International Airport, this airport’s facilities include a range of shops and eateries, many of which are open 24 hours. Reviewers report plenty of options to charge your mobile devices on the 2nd floor, and the free WiFi is said to work well in this area.
Sleeping in Fortaleza Airport
Overnight sleepers don’t seem to have any problems sleeping at the airport, but one needs to come prepared as the seats are equipped with armrests. Bring a sleeping bag if you plan to spread out on the cold floor. The observation area on Floor 3 is reportedly the best spot for peace and quiet. For uninterrupted sleep, there are hotels near the airport. See Airport Hotels in the guide below or read some traveller airport reviews for more tips.
