Sleeping in Goa Airport

If you’re hoping to get some sleep without leaving the airport, fellow travellers have reported that the landside Arrivals area provides passengers with a decent seating area to rest. Despite its small size, several police officers roam around the airport at night, adding an element of security for those who choose to sleep at Goa Airport. However, passengers have also claimed that some airport staff like to play music which makes it difficult to fall asleep, so bring some ear plugs! For uninterrupted rest, there are hotels near the airport. See the Airport Hotels section below for more info or read some traveller airport reviews for more tips!

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.  For more information on Europe’s Schengen Area, click here.
