To help you plan your layover or overnight sleepover, here is a quick run-down about what to expect during your time at Guam International Airport.
What to Expect
Agana Airport has a single terminal with three levels: Concourse, Arrivals and Departures. The airport features several different airside eateries and a couple of retail outlets and duty free. WiFi is available at some of the eateries and in the airport lounges. Economy class passengers can pay to use one of the airport lounges. See Airport Lounges in the airport guide below.
Where to Sleep
From limited reviews it appears that there is no armrest-free seating and few good sleeping spots. The best option might be carpeted areas at empty gates, but bring earplugs/noise-cancelling headphones as the airport is described as loud. For uninterrupted sleep, there are several hotels within paid shuttle distance of the airport. See Airport Hotels in the airport guide below.
In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.
Pay-per-use, Single Visit Passes & Lounge Memberships
Regardless of what class of service you are flying, there are lounges that you can enter by paying at the door or through a lounge membership program (ie. United Club or Priority Pass). Visit the individual lounge page for more details about the lounge itself and to also find out how you can gain lounge access with just an economy class ticket!
- Sagan Bisita Lounge – Location: Airside, opposite Gate 7. Showers are available. Lounge Access: Pay at the Door • Lounge membership programs. [ more lounge info ]
- United Club – Location: Airside, Concourse Level, between Gates 10 and 11. Lounge Access: Pay at the Door with proof of United Airlines ticket • United Club Membership. [ more lounge info ]
