What to Expect

Hollywood Burbank Airport (code: BUR) consists of two interconnected domestic terminals, with Terminal A hosting nine departure gates, and Terminal B, five departure gates. There are a dozen or so eateries and shops spanning both sides of security.  WiFi is available to help pass the time. There are no private lounges at this airport.

ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs are available. Fees may apply, so be sure to check your bank’s fee schedule and your daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. Baby Care Facilities – There are 2 family washrooms available at the airport offering baby change facilities.

Duty Free and Shopping – Duty Free is not available at the airport. You will find three Hudson News Gift Shops which open at 5:00AM and close at 7:00PM or 8:00PM depending on location.

Family Services – A Mamava nursing pod/station can be found on the 2nd Floor, Airside. The station provides a private, comfortable place for nursing including seating, a fold-­‐down table and power supply for pumping, and space for luggage or a stroller.

Food & Drinks – The airport has 14 food and beverage locations throughout the terminals. These include Guy Fieri’s American Kitchen and Bar Burbank, Wolfgang Puck Kitchen Counter, Guy Fieri’s Burger Joint as well as Jones Coffee Roasters.   At the time of this update, there were no 24-hour food or beverage concessions open at this airport.

Luggage Storage & Lockers – Not available.

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport

Bus

BUR Airport is a stop on three Metro Bus lines and the City of Burbank BurbankBus. Buses are available on the ground level of the Regional Intermodal Transportation Center (RITC) which can be accessed via the elevated moving walkway to/from the terminal. BurbankBus connects the airport with downtown Burbank and Metro North Hollywood Station on weekdays. Weekend and holiday service is available on-demand, provided by the airport via SuperShuttle. For route maps, schedules and fares, visit the BurbankBus website.

Car Rentals

Car rental services are offered in the RITC (Regional Intermodal Transportation Center), a separate facility that houses the car rental agency service desks, rental vehicles and other modes of public transportation. The customer service area of the facility is accessible via an elevated moving walkway, located near Valet Parking in front of the airport terminal. Taxis and Shared Ride Shuttles

Taxis and shared-ride shuttles are readily available at the pedestrian islands in front of the airport terminal. All taxis are metered and reservations are not required. Shared-ride shuttles are operated by Prime Time Shuttle, Roadrunner Shuttle and SuperShuttle.

Trains

Burbank Bob Hope Airport is accessible by rail service, via Bob Hope Airport Train Station. The train station is served by Metrolink trains on weekdays, and by daily service from Amtrak Pacific Surfliner trains.
