In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.

More Services, Facilities & Things To Do On A Layover At The Airport

ATMs / Cash Machines – There are no ATMs at the airport. The closest machines are 5 minutes away at Cora hypermarket in Rots or Carrefour Market in Bretteville sur Odon.

Baby Care Facilities – Washrooms in the departure area have baby changing facilities.

Children’s Play Area – When you want to ensure your kids burn off all their energy before their flight, take them to the children’s play area. Location: Airside, Departures lounge.

Currency Exchange – Not available in the airport.

Duty Free & Shopping – Duty Free shopping is not available. Shopping is limited to souvenir/local products sold in kiosks.

Food & Drinks – A variety of snacks, sandwiches, and hot/cold beverages are available for purchase from vending machines located both Landside and Airside.

Luggage Storage & Lockers – Not available.

Luggage Trolleys – A refundable deposit of € 1 is required.

Magazines – Free magazines are available for your enjoyment in the terminal.

Airport Hours

The airport is open from 5:00AM – 10:00PM (Mon-Fri), 5:00AM – 8:00PM (Sat), and 9:00AM – 10:00PM (Sun). Hours may be extended to accommodate non-commercial flights.

As of March 2018, Bayeux airport is served by the following airlines: Chalair Aviation • Flybe • HOP! • Volotea.

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport

Buses

Bus company Twisto offers bus service to/from the airport and the Caen city center. The bus runs every 15 minutes Monday through Saturday (5:30AM – 12:30AM) and Sundays and bank holidays (9:00AM – 12:00AM). Bus fare is €1.50. To see specific bus stops and details on purchasing tickets, visit the airport website. For bus service to Caen-Tilly/Seulles, take Line 8 with the regional service Bus Verts.

Taxis

A taxi stand is located just outside the Arrivals Hall, timed to meet all flight arrivals and departures. As of this January 2018 update, the approximate fares are €25 to Caen city center and €30 to the Caen train station.

Car Rentals

Companies offer car rental services onsite, including Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Europcar, Hertz, and Sixt.
