KRK Airport Overview
To help you plan your layover or overnight sleepover, here is a quick run-down about what to expect during your time at Kraków John Paul II International Airport.
What to Expect
Kraków Airport (code: KRK) has a single, brand new terminal that serves both domestic and international flights. You’ll find a variety of eateries, cafes, and duty-free and retail shops, but none are open 24 hours, so plan ahead if you’re staying the night. Bring your own entertainment as WiFi is free for only 15 minutes. For added comfort while you wait, economy class passengers can pay to enter an airport lounge. See Airport Lounges in the guide below for location and access information.
Sleeping in Krakow Airport
Overnight sleepers report decent overnight experiences. While many seats have armrests, there are a few armrest-free and recliners if you’re lucky. For more space, bring a blanket or sleeping bag and head to the Floor 1 shop area for peace and quiet. For uninterrupted sleep, hotels are nearby. See the Airport Hotels section below for locations or read some traveller airport reviews for more tips.
