What to Expect
Kristiansand Airport (code: KRS) has a small, modern terminal that handles a few regional destinations. Facilities are limited to two basic eateries and a duty-free shop. WiFi is free for two hours, after which you can simply log in again.
Where to Sleep

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, all services and times listed below are subject to change. Some services and facilities may remain closed or operate with reduced hours. Airport tips and suggestions in this guide and elsewhere on the site were written before March 2020 and may no longer be valid. If you are planning to sleep in the public area of the terminal overnight, have a back-up plan! We’ve heard from a few travellers at other airports and they were not permitted to stay overnight. We’re not sure if that will apply to this airport, until a reader lets us know the current situation. We will start updating all of our guides in October 2021. In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. More Services, Facilities & Things To Do On A Layover At The Airport
ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs are available. Fees may apply, so be sure to check your bank’s fee schedule and your daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Locations: in the Departures and Arrivals halls of both the Domestic and International terminals.
Children’s Play Area – If you want to ensure your children are entertained, the airport has an small area where they can test their knowledge and solve popular science challenges. Location: In between the domestic and international terminals.
Duty Free & Shopping – Duty-free shopping is available airside to both departing and arriving passengers 24 hours a day. Proof of flight (boarding pass, flight tickets, etc.) is required for duty-free purchases.
Food & Drinks – Deli di Luca is the airport’s only dining option, with one location each in Departures and Arrivals halls. Hours: 5:00AM – 10:00PM (Departures hall) • Hours vary in the Arrivals hall location. At the time of this update, 24-hour dining is not available.
Luggage Storage & Lockers – Not available.

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport
Haga Buss offers scheduled service to/from Kristiansand Bus Station, stopping at the University and major hotels along the way. Agder Flyekspress and Flybussen offer scheduled service to Grimstad and Arendal. Service to Lillesand is also possible via Flybussen.

Taxis are readily available at a taxi stand located next to the airport terminal.
