Lerwick Airport (code: LWK) has a tiny terminal that offers regional service. Facilities are limited to a single cafe/shop combination. Free WiFi helps pass the time.
Sleeping in Lerwick Airport
Spending the night here is not possible due to the airport’s limited operating hours, closing by 8:30PM on weeknights, 4:00PM on Saturdays, and 8:00PM on Sundays. Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport
A regularly scheduled service is available between LWK airport and central Lerwick, the ride journey takes approximately 40 minutes. For fares and schedule information, visit the Zettrans website.
Star Rent-A-Car is available onsite near the Arrivals baggage carrousels, offering services for Alamo, Europcar and National.
