What to Expect
Lexington Airport (code: LEX) consists of a small, three-level terminal with three concourses (A, B, and C). The airport features several eateries and a couple of gift shops on both sides of security. WiFi is available to help pass the time. Information Desk – If you have any questions, visit the information center for help. Location: Lobby, landside, 1st level. Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.

Medical Services – Urgent and emergency medical care is available 24 hours a day at the First Aid Station.
Mobile Charging – A reader tells us that power outlets can be found underneath the seats at the gates.
Postal Services – Drop off your last minute postcards at the airport’s mailbox which is located outside the terminal entrance. Stamps can be purchased at the Information Desk.

The airport is open 24 hours.
Keep in mind that TSA, airline check-in and baggage drop hours vary according to the flight schedule. Check these hours with your airline. If you are in the public area of the terminal (landside) you will not be able to get through to the secure area of the terminal (airside) until the morning.

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport
Lextran offers an express service connecting LEX airport to the downtown Transit Center on Vine Street, weekdays from 6:00AM – 6:00PM. A designated bus stop is located curbside at the airport. For route map, schedule and fare information, visit the Lextran website.
Car rental desks are located on the 1st level in the baggage claim area, and rental vehicles are housed in a separate facility located next to the airport terminal. Onsite car rental agencies include Alamo • Avis • Budget • Dollar • Enterprise • Hertz • National.
