What to Expect
The current terminal at Liberia Airport (code: LIR), which opened in 2012 and has since been expanded, handles North and Central American flights. Facilities are limited to an eatery or two and a few shops. WiFi is available with a purchase in the Airside Cafe. Otherwise, WiFi in the rest of the terminal is paid. Sleeping in Liberia Airport
We do not yet have any sleep-related airport reviews, but it seems this airport closes nightly. Have a backup plan if you’re planning to spend the night. If you are travelling light, buses between the Liberia Airport and Liberia City runs every half hour, every hour starting at 5:00AM. The bus fare is approximately $1.00. From the city center you can connect to onward travel.
