What to Expect
- A small single-terminal cargo airport, also served by some seasonal and charter regional flights. A limited variety of shopping and dining options are available.

Where to Sleep
- It is not possible to stay airside at night. Travellers must stay landside where the only comfort will be the floor.
- For uninterrupted sleep, there are hotels near the airport. See Airport Hotels in the airport guide below.
In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.
At the time of this update, there are no airport lounges that economy class travellers can pay to use.

More Services, Facilities & Things To Do On A Layover At The Airport
Duty Free & Shopping – Airside: Perfume, beauty products, cigarettes, liquor, snacks, and souvenirs are available for purchase in the Liege Airport Duty-Free Shop. Landside: You will find a travel agency, Press International Bookstore (opens 2 hours before the first departure) and the Galleon Spirit Shop.
Food & Drinks – At the time of this update there were no 24-hour food concessions. You will find options available both Landside and Airside including a Cafe (Hours: unknown), the Madame Butterfly Sandwicherie (Hours: open for lunch during the week and on weekends when there are flights) and the Airport Restaurant (Hours: 11:00AM – 4:00PM, Mon – Fri.).
Information Desk – Located in the middle of the airport terminal, Landside.
Luggage Storage & Lockers – Not available.
Rest Zones – Not available.
Showers – Not available.
The airport is open 24 hours.
As of February 2018, Liège airport is served by the following airlines: TUIfly • EL AL Israel Airlines • Lufthansa • Turkish Airlines • United Airlines.
Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport
Bus and Shuttle
Bus lines TEC 57 and TEC 53 serve the airport, with TEC 57 running Monday – Friday only. At the time of this December 2017 update, bus fare starts at 2,10 €.
Oli Shuttle Xpress offers scheduled and on-demand transportation for smaller groups to and from the airport. There is also an Airport Shuttle Bus available to meet all arriving and departing flights. Europcar and Hertz offer car rental service onsite at Liege Airport.
Metered taxis are readily available outside of the passenger terminal.
