What to Expect

London Airport (code: YXU) consists of a small, renovated terminal with a couple of eateries. These eateries close down at 8:30PM at the latest, leaving only vending machines for food and snacks, so plan accordingly. WiFi is available to help pass the time. There are no private lounges at this airport.

ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs are available. Fees may apply, so be sure to check your bank’s fee schedule and your daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Locations: Landside, in the Main Concourse • Airside, inside the departure lounge.

Coat Check – Store your winter coat, hat and gloves. See a member of the “On the Fly Staff” once you have passed security. Upon return, clear customs then pick up your items near the Tim Horton’s. Rates: $5.00.

Mobile Charging – Power outlets are located throughout the terminal. You can also charge your electronics at charging stations located airside in the departures lounge.

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport


City bus service is available to and from YXU Airport (14 connections daily). For fares, routes and schedules, visit the London Transit Commission website.

A daily inter-community bus servicing Strathroy Caradoc – Sarnia and London includes a stop at London Airport. Rate starts at $5. Visit the Sarnia web site for more information.
