What to Expect

Playa de Oro International Airport consists of a tiny, modern terminal with a couple of eateries and shops on the landside. WiFi is available to help pass the time. There are no private lounges at this airport.

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.

Taxis

Fixed-rate taxis are readily available for hire in the ground transportation area of the airport. At the time of this December 2017 update, the rates are as follows: $370 MXP to/from Zone 1 and $430 MXP to/from Zone 2.
