What to Expect
Nantes Airport (code: NTE) has a single L-shaped terminal building that’s divided into Halls 1-4. Facilities are modern but limited to a few eateries and shops, including duty-free. Free WiFi helps pass the time.
Sleeping in Nantes Airport
Overnight campers report no issues from airport staff. Armrest-free benches are located both landside and airside, and a few airside gates have some more comfortable couches. For uninterrupted sleep, hotels are located in walking distance and some offer free shuttle service. More Services, Facilities & Things To Do On A Layover At The Airport
ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs are available. Fees may apply, so be sure to check your bank’s fee schedule and your daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Locations: Halls 2 and 3.
Baby Care Facilities – A nursery is available Hall 3 and 2 nurseries are a boarding area, in theaters 3B and 4B and are equipped with microwaves.
Currency Exchange – ICE offers currency exchange services at the airport. Hours: 8:15AM – 7:45PM (Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sun) • 8:15AM – 5:45PM (Tues & Sat).
Duty Free & Shopping – Duty free and several gift shops are available at Halls 2 and 3 on the ground floor and on the first floor of the terminal building. Duty Free is open 4:30AM – 10:30PM.
Food & Drinks – At the time of this update there were no 24-hour food and beverage concessions. During flight operation hours, you will find La Brioche Dorée (Landside, Hall 3 & Airside, Hall 4) • Le Grand Comptoir (Landside, Hall 1, 1st Floor) • La Terrasse (Landside, Hall 3) • Bar 1.44 (Landside, Hall 1) • News Cafe (Airside, Hall 3, 1st Floor).
Information Desk – Need help finding your way? An information desk can be found in Hall 1, main level. Services here also include storage of small items. Items that fit into envelopes range from 10€ – 15€ per envelope.
Luggage Storage & Lockers – Not available.
Postal Services – Drop off your last minute postcards at the airport’s mailbox. Location: Landside, near the exit door in Hall 2. Stamps can be purchased at the nearby Relay Store.
Medical Services – There is a First Aid station available in Hall 3, main level.

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport
The following car rental agencies are located onsite: Avis/Budget • Enterprise • Europcar • Hertz • Sixt. Location: on the esplanade right next to the car rental parking lot.

TAN shuttle buses offer frequent, direct service between the airport (Hall 2) and city center/train station. Departures are available every 20 minutes from 6:15AM – 11:15PM (Mon-Sat), and every 30 minutes at all other times from 7:00AM – 11:15PM (Sun). At the time of this update, adult fare is 9 € and tickets can be bought from the bus driver or in the Relay Shop inside the terminal (Hall 2).
Metered taxis are readily available outside of the terminal near Hall 3. At the time of this update, the estimated one-way fare between the airport and Nantes city center is 30 – 35 €.
