What to Expect

    Scheduled departures are often delayed

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.

Airport Lounges

Pay-per-use, Single Visit Passes & Lounge Memberships

Regardless of what class of service you are flying, there is a lounge that you can enter by purchasing a lounge pass or through a lounge membership program (ie. Priority Pass). Visit the individual lounge page for more details about the lounge itself and to also find out how you can gain lounge access with just an economy class ticket!

Free WiFi is available at Norwich Airport. Connect to the “EE Wi-Fi” network.

More Services, Facilities & Things To Do On A Layover At The Airport

ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs are available. British Pounds and Euros are dispensed. Fees may apply, so be sure to check your bank’s fee schedule and your daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Locations: Landside, check-in area Airside, departure lounge.

Currency Exchange – ICE – Location: Landside. Hours: 5:00AM – 5:00PM (Mon – Fri) • 5:00AM – 10:00AM (Sat) • 5:00AM – 2:00PM (Sun).

Duty Free & Shopping – Duty Free is available and you will also find a WH Smith and a one other convenience type store.

Fast Track Service – As a premium service, customers with Fast Track security passes will be given priority service to ensure that waiting is kept to a minimum. Cost: £3.00. Book on-line.

Food & Drinks -There are no 24-hour food / beverage concessions. Costa Coffee is available landside and Café Oasis is available airside. The Yard Ale has operations Landside and Airside.

Luggage Storage & Lockers – Not available.

Medical Services – There is a First Aid station located near the check-in desks.

Smoking – There is no smoking inside the terminal. You can find a shelter in front of the terminal.

Airport Hours

The airport is open 4:15AM – 9:30PM.

Airlines

As of February 2018, Norwich airport is served by the following airlines: Flybe • KLM • Eastern Airways • Loganair • British Airways.

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport

Bus

Airport Park & Ride buses offer frequent service between the airport terminal and Park & Ride locations in the city center. For local bus services, the two nearest stops to the airport are on Cromer Road (Hellesdon (Tesco express stop)) and Denis Road, both within 8 – 10 minutes walk from the airport terminal. Service is not available on Sunday.

Car Rentals

Avis, Budget, Europcar and Hertz offer car rental services onsite in the main concourse.

Taxi

Norwich Airport Taxis is the official taxi service provider for the airport, and the only taxi company authorized to pick up and drop off passengers directly outside of the airport terminal. Taxis are available 24 hours a day, and can be pre-booked online or hired at the taxi rank in front of the terminal.
