To help you plan your layover or overnight sleepover, here is a quick run-down about what to expect during your time at Ohrid St. Paul the Apostle Airport.
What to Expect
Ohrid Airport (code: OHD) has a small, recently renovated terminal that handles year-round and seasonal European flights. Facilities are limited to two snack bars, a restaurant, a summertime outdoor bar, and two shops. WiFi is available for a fee. For added comfort, economy class passengers can pay to enter an airport lounge. See Airport Lounges in the guide below for location and access information.
Sleeping in Ohrid Airport
Overnight stays are not possible as the airport generally closes nightly from 11:30PM until 5:30AM. For uninterrupted sleep, nearby hotels offer shuttle service for a fee. See the Airport Hotels section below for locations or read some traveller airport reviews for more tips.

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Pay-per-use, Single Visit Passes & Lounge Memberships
Regardless of what class of service you are flying, there is a lounge that you can enter by paying at the door, purchasing a lounge pass or through a lounge membership program. Airport Hotels
There are no hotels at Ohrid-St. Paul the Apostle Airport. You will need to drive to Struga (12 minutes to the west) or Ohrid (15-20 minutes to the southeast) to find a hotel. Visit Tripadvisor to see a list of hotels in Ohrid, search deals and read traveller reviews.
Airport WiFi/Internet
WiFi is available at Ohrid Airport for a fee. Connect to the “SunWireless” Network. You can purchase an access code online or purchase cards in the airport.

ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? An ATM is available. Fees may apply, so be sure to check your bank’s fee schedule and your daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Locations: unknown.
Conference Facilities – A conference room is available, but additional information is unknown.
Currency Exchange – Available at the arrival area.
Duty Free & Shopping – Duty Free is available (Airside) as well as a small market (Landside) which is open according to flight schedules. Only Macedonian Denar or a credit card can be used at the airport market.
Food & Drink – At the time of writing, no 24-hour options are available. On the Landside you will find a snack bar, while on the Airside there is a restaurant and snack bar. An outdoor bar is located in front of the airport during the summer months.
Information Desk – If you have any questions, there is an information desk available to provide you with answers. Location: directly opposite the departure gate (landside) and arrival area.
Luggage Storage & Lockers – Available. Maximum days to store the luggage is 30 days. .Rates: 1pc (small) : 150MKD/4hrs, 250MKD/12hrs, 400MKD/24hrs • 1 pc (large) 200MKD/4hrs, 300MKD/12hrs, 250MKD/24hrs. Keys, documents, baby trolleys, wheelchairs and boxes are also accepted on certain fees.
Medical Services – First aid treatment services are available. Location: Ground floor. Hours: 24 hours.
