To help you plan your layover or overnight sleepover, here is a quick run-down about what to expect during your time at Okinawa Naha Airport.
What to Expect
Okinawa Naha Airport (code: OKA) serves both military and commercial purposes. Commercial flights are handled by three terminals: the Domestic Terminal, the LCCT Terminal extension, and the International Terminal. Head to Floor 4 to find several eateries, then browse the shops on Floors 2 and 3. WiFi is free in the departures areas. For added comfort while you wait, economy class passengers can pay to enter an airport lounge. See Airport Lounges in the guide below for location and access information.

Currency Exchange – Currency exchange services are available from: the exchange machine – Location: Landside, 1st Floor, arrivals hall (7:00AM – 11:30PM) • Travelex exchange counter – Location: Airside, 2nd Floor, international departures (7:00AM – 9:00PM).
Dry Cleaning – Services available at Brother’s Laundry. Location: 3rd Floor. Hours: 10:00AM – 8:00PM.
Duty Free & Shopping – Duty Free shopping is available. There is a large variety of stores selling local specialties, souvenirs, perfumes and much more. The hours vary, but most are open from 6:30AM to 8:30PM.
Food & Drinks – You will find restaurant options on the 1st, 2nd and 4th floors of the terminal. At the time of this update, there are no 24 hour food options. Vending machines available on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors.
Information Desk – Need help finding your way? Information desks can be found in the main areas on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors. The operating hours of the information desk vary based on the floor and can be found on the Okinawa Naha Airport website.
Luggage Storage & Lockers – A storage room is available, with prices starting at ¥400 per item per day. Coin-operated lockers can also be found on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors.
Massages – If you would like to relax and unwind before your flight, use one of many massage chairs located on every floor. Or get a full-body massage from a masseuse at one of the massage booths. Locations: 1st Floor • 3rd Floor. Hours: 9:00AM – 10:00PM. Rate: ¥1000 / 10 minutes.
Medical Services – Automated External Defibrillators (AED) are located throughout the airport.
Mobile Charging – Charging points are available throughout the terminal on all floors and there are also coin-operated mobile phone chargers in various locations.
Observation Deck – Watch the planes take off and land atop the airport’s observation desk, free of charge. Locations: Airside, 3rd & 4th floors. Hours: 8:00AM – 7:00PM.
Post Office – Drop off your last minute postcards to friends and family from the airport’s mailbox. Locations: Landside.
Prayer Rooms – Available. Location: Airside, 4th Floor.

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport
Bus
Several “limousine bus” lines serve the airport, offering comfortable transportation between the airport and destinations in the local and regional area. You can find the limousine bus stop on the 1st Floor, outside and across from the taxi stand by the Domestic Flights terminal. For fares, routes and schedules, visit the Okinawa Naha Airport website.
Car Rentals
Car rental service is available onsite. The counter is located 1st Floor, Arrivals Lobby, Landside. Hours: 9:00AM – 6:00PM.

Monorail
Yui Rail operates a monorail between Naha Airport Station (access from 3rd floor of the parking garage) and Shuri Station, with 15 stops total. One-way trip time is about 27 minutes, with service running from 6:00AM – 11:30PM. At the time of this update, a 1-day ticket is ¥800.
Taxis
Both short and long distance taxis can be found at the corresponding taxi stands on the 1st Floor, outside of the Domestic Flights terminal.
