What to Expect
- A small single-terminal international airport with a variety of shopping and dining options.

Where to Sleep
- Overnight stays are not permitted inside the airport; however, a traveller mentioned that they were able to sleep (with permission) in one of the airport’s prayer
rooms (in the car park area).

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.
There are 3 airport lounges, but at the time of this update we did not have any information about whether it was possible for economy class passengers to pay to enter.

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport
Car rental services are available on site. No further information is available at this time.
Two shuttle buses serve the airport, offering connections to a variety of destinations. The buses depart from the Arrivals area. As of this January 2019 update, the rate is Rp. 23.500, one way To plan your route, visit the Padang Airport website.
Taxis are readily available for hire in the ground transportation area of the airport. There are no meters, so negotiate a fare with the driver before starting your journey.
