Prince George Airport (code: YXS) consists of a small terminal with a boarding area on the airside and a single restaurant and lounge on the landside. WiFi is available to help pass the time. There are no private lounges at this airport.

Sleeping in Prince George Airport

Because the terminal is closed between 12:30AM and 4:30AM, there is no overnight sleeping at this airport. There are hotels near the airport. See Airport Hotels in the guide below or read some traveller airport reviews for more tips.

ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs are available. Fees may apply, so be sure to check your bank’s fee schedule and your daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Location: Landside, between the entrance doors and the WestJet offices.

Food & Drinks – The airport offers a lounge and cafe. Farmhouse has 3 locations: Farmhouse Lounge and Restaurant Service, Pre-security ( currently closed and will resume after the construction) • Bakery by Farmhouse, outside the restaurant • Gourmet Express by farmhouse, Boarding area. Vending machines are also available.

Information Desk – The Information Booth and the Volunteer Airport Ambassadors are available to assist customers. Look for the ambassadors usually across from the Car Rental companies at the Ambassadors Booth in the Airport Terminal Building.

Luggage Storage & Lockers – Not available.

Mobile Charging – Mobile charging ports are available at the airport.

Greyhound offers service between the airport and the main bus station in downtown Prince George. Airporter Shuttle Service offers shared-ride shuttle service between the airport and central Prince George. Reservations are recommended.
