RUN Airport Overview

reunion airport guideTo help you plan your layover or overnight sleepover, here is a quick run-down about what to expect during your time at Reunion Airport.

What to Expect

Reunion Airport (code: RUN) has a small terminal that handles regional and longer-haul flights. Facilities include a couple of eateries, a few shops, and vending machines. Free WiFi helps pass the time.

Sleeping in Reunion Airport

This airport seems to close nightly after the day’s last flight, so overnight stays aren’t possible. Thanks to mild weather, adventurous travellers can try camping under the stars outside the terminal. For uninterrupted sleep, hotels are nearby. See our Airport Hotels section below for more info, or read some traveller airport reviews for more tips.

To help us keep this guide up-to-date, you can add or update information or write a review to submit airport tips and photos. You can also visit the airport’s website for current information. For more airport information, continue scrolling down to explore more in our Reunion Airport Guide.

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.  For more information on Europe’s Schengen Area, click here.

Airport Hours

As of this update, we cannot confirm the airport’s hours of operation. We recommend reading a few reviews before deciding to sleep in the airport overnight. If you know the airport hours, click here to update this airport guide, and we will update it.

Airport Hotels

While there are no hotels directly at Reunion Airport, the city of Saint-Denis is only a short 10-15 minute drive away.  Visit Tripadvisor to see a list of hotels in Saint-Denis, search deals and read traveller reviews.
