What to Expect

Of several airports in the area, Stockholm Bromma Airport (code: BMA) is the closest to the city center. Its single terminal handles a few domestic and regional flights. Amenities are limited to four landside eateries, an airside bar, and two shops, including a duty-free. WiFi is free for three hours or 100MB, whichever you reach first. Sleeping in Bromma Airport

ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? A Forex ATM is available and dispenses Euro and Danish kroners. Fees may apply, so check your bank’s fee schedule and daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Location: Airside, Departures Hall, near Gate 8.

Conference Facilities – There are no conference rooms at the airport. However, Best Western Plus has conference facilities and is within a 5-minute walking distance from the terminal.

Currency Exchange – Not available; however, the Forex ATM (airside) dispenses Euros.

Disabled Services – Airlines and the airport offer several services for passengers with reduced mobility; make sure to contact both before travelling.

Duty-Free & Shopping – Duty-free shops are located airside. Hours: 5:00 AM – 10:00 PM (Mon-Fri) • 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Sat) • 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM (Sun). There are also two Pressbyrån shops on landside and airside that sell books, magazines, drinks and snacks. Hours: 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM (Mon – Fri) • 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Sat) • 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM (Sun).

Family Services – Travelling with children? These services are available to help you get through the airport easier:

  • Diaper Changing Facilities – Changing tables are available inside men’s and women’s washrooms.
  • Stroller Rental – If you want to make getting around the airport with your child easier, strollers are available free of charge airside until your flight departure. Location: Next to Check-in counters 5-7.

Food & Drink – As of this update, no 24-hour options are available. There are only two food concessions available. Forno Romano ( Landslide) • Deli Flight Bar ( Airside).

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport
